The HR Leader is a key business partner for senior leaders with passion for delivering a measurable business impact. They will plan, direct, and implement the HR strategy, key priorities, guidelines, and procedures to support the core functions of the business. This position focuses on serving the needs, concerns and objectives of both managers and our employees through building effective partnerships and by creating trust and mutual respect. Key leadership competencies for the role will be the ability to connect, engage, and relate to people at all levels of the organization and manage strategic and tactical deliverables.
Essential Job Functions:

  • Establish and deliver effective Business Partnering that enables, empowers, and supports the operating areas to achieve their key objectives by providing effective human capital systems, tools, and processes, and overarching plans that support the goals of the organization
  • Ability to partner with senior leadership to align the HR strategy and priorities to the strategic direction of the business
  • Direct and influence the HR function for the organization, including talent acquisition, employee relations and retention, compensation, benefits and rewards/recognition, culture development, workforce planning, change management, diversity and inclusion, compliance, organizational development and training, and HR information systems and data
  • Champion internal communications and employee engagement to ensure we are one of the best places to work in the industry
  • Lead and manage the human resources team and measure team member performance. Duties include hiring, assessing, training, mentoring, and employee development
  • Support Management and Center leaders with implementation of HR programs including training, talent acquisition, employment law and compliance, compensation and benefits, onboarding, succession planning, employee relations, and performance management
  • Build rapport and maintain open lines of communication with all management and employees in the field
  • Assist leadership in improving team performance through effective coaching and training and/or corrective action policy and procedures
  • Develop, maintain and analyze Human Resources key metrics, create action plans as needed; communicate results to leadership.

Additional Responsibilities:

Carries out duties assigned by the Executive Team as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ Years Experience as an HR Business Partner/Generalist/HR Manager, or similar role
  • 5+ Years of HR Team Leadership
  • Ability to connect, relate, and build rapport with others
  • Ability to travel to field locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification is strongly preferred
  • HRIS experience in PAYCOM preferred
  • Industry Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, and talking, hearing and visual activity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds)

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers/printers/scanners.
