The Midwinter Conference is an annual event made up of educational sessions that focus on industry issues and legislative affairs. The close of the conference is marked by the Safety Awards Banquet recognizing safe drivers and carriers. The conference registration includes a ticket to Safety Awards Banquet.
OTA's Annual Safety Awards Banquet takes place at the conclusion of the Midwinter Conference. The Banquet honors those member companies and persons who prove excellence in safety within the trucking industry. The Safety Awards include Fleet Safety, Professional Driver, Oklahoma Driver of the Year, Million Mile Driver categories, and Excellence in Maintenance Supervision. Members come together to support the importance of safety while acknowledging those individuals that rise above and beyond.
The Oklahoma Trucking Association is excited to continue Truck Day at the Capitol. Please join us for a day of advocacy, training, and working with our legislature to spread the positive image of trucking. During this program, members will have a chance to observe the political process in action. Our annual program is designed to increase positive imaging of trucking through the education of our elected officials.
The OTA Technology Maintenance Council (TMC) is planning an online training session on ''Your Maintenance Resources - Answering Your Maintenance Questions'' to be broadcast live via Zoom at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 8. The session will be approximately 1 hour in length with an opportunity for Q&A with instructor Bryan Lewis 2-Time National SuperTech Champion, Industry Trainer, Consultant, and ASE Test Developer. This TMC event will be recorded for later viewing by technicians who cannot attend at that time.
