2026 Truck Driving Championships

The Oklahoma Trucking Association and Oklahoma Safety & Security Council are proud to host the Truck Driving Championships. 
This two-day event showcases the professionalism and skill of Oklahoma's top drivers. TDC brings together competitors from across the state for real-world driving challenges, while also celebrating the industry with families, colleagues, and supporters. 
Winners of each class go on to compete in the ATA National Truck Driving Championship.

2026 Accident Eligibility Criteria 

NTDC /NSVDC Retirement List:   The rule states, that any NTDC competitor who competed at nationals in the same class of competition in two consecutive years must retire from that class the two following years. Any NSVDC competitor who competed at nationals in the same class of competition two consecutive years must retire from the Step Van class the following year.

Grand Champion Scoring: We use the same scoring system as the ATA, and it is figured by the same formula they use which is explained by them: The Grand Champion is selected through a handicapping system which takes into consideration the differences in vehicle operating characteristics in the different classes of competition. Therefore, the TDC Grand Champion is not necessarily the individual with the highest cumulative total score. The Grand Champion formula identifies the individual who did well in all areas of competition plus how much greater the Grand Champion outscored his/her fellow class contestants in the Skills Test.

OTA TDC REQUIREMENT

• Companies participating in the State Championships may be required to provide a tractor and/or trailer to be utilized during the competition as well as a volunteer to serve as a judge. Drivers whose companies do not provide equipment and volunteer judges may not be allowed to compete.
• In addition, if needed, companies must be able to provide equipment in the class of competition in which they have drivers competing. The OTA policy stands, we will not sign any equipment/hold harmless agreements nor will we be naming any additional companies to our general liability insurance policy.
